As a charitable organisation, the RFDS relies on community support to help us continue providing emergency and primary healthcare to rural and remote Australia. There are many ways that individuals and groups assist us and we thank them for their investment of time and their generosity of spirit.
Volunteers
Special thanks to the RFDS volunteers across the SE Section whose tireless efforts on our behalf enable us to minimise fundraising costs. The Sydney office, in particular, relies heavily on office and marketing volunteers. Thank you to all for your dedication and commitment.
Thanks also to the Service’s volunteer speakers who give up their time to speak on behalf of the RFDS to community groups.
We are also very fortunate to have dedicated groups of Auxiliaries and Support Group fundraisers, who each year organise many and varied events.
And last but not least, thanks to the many volunteers who assist us at remote area health clinics.
