Thanks to your generous donations and support the South Eastern Section took delivery of its latest King Air B200 aircraft in May 2007. Mike Victor Whiskey (MVW), as it is known, is currently undergoing a two phase modification process to prepare it for the challenging conditions of Outback Australia.
You can keep up to date on its progress here and view photos of each stage of modification.
To read about the first stage of MVW's modification, undertaken from May 2007 to November 2007 at Hawker Pacific in Bankstown, click here.
To read about the second stage of MVW's modification as it happens, between November 2007 and February 2008, at Total Aerospace Solutions, click here.
We expect MVW will enter service in the first quarter of 2008 at Broken Hill Base.
