RFDS Volunteer Speaker Doug Roser and his wife Karen accepted a cheque on Friday, 9 May from the
NSWPoliceCollege in Goulburn. The presentation was made at the Attestation Parade for Constable Education Program Class 30 where 271 new recruits took heir oath of office. The ceremony was attended by NSW Police Force Commissioner Andrew Scipione, with guests including the Minister for Police David Campbell.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service was chosen by the policing students as their nominated charity for fundraising during the course of their studies and raised $2,760 through a raffle. The RFDS is very appreciative of the support from NSWPoliceCollege and congratulates the graduates who were sworn in that day.
