Our members

Flying Doctor Society, Pilot Wing Members and Custodians

Since 1991, the Flying Doctor Society has been an integral part of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Together with our Custodians and Pilot Wing members, they have raised over two million dollars. They play a significant role in the lifesaving work of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Directors and staff of the Service gratefully acknowledge their contribution.

Each year, an Honour Roll is produced acknowledging each member and thanking them for their contribution.

The John Flynn Legion

The John Flynn Legion is a very special membership group. These are people who have informed us they will be leaving a lasting memory to The Royal Flying Doctor Service in the form of a bequest in their Will.

We currently have 140 members of the John Flynn Legion. We thank these people whose generosity and vision will enable us to continue our lifesaving work in such a unforgettable way.
